You betchya! That's where Red-One got started - by buying inexpensive, mass-produced guitars like everyone else can. But we do hardware upgrades and add some finishing touches, all seasoned with love for guitars. We fix 'em up  nice, so they feel, sound and play like guitars to be proud of.

Yup. We're just starting up now, and this web page is sort of a place holder. We're hoping to get a gallery page built here, to show what we do. Might take a little while. Keep checking back! 

Here are some favorites that we do to improve a bargain guitar:

• Setup to the player's personal taste, including nut slot heights, truss rod adjustment, bridge saddle adjustment and pickup heights.
• Upgrade pickups, switches, pots, wiring and shielding
• Custom design the wiring 
• Upgrade turning machines, string trees, bridges, tremolos/vibratos
• Custom modify/replace pickguards and control knobs
• Contour neck/body joints
